Chocolate Covered Oreo Cookie Cake

• 1 18.25 pkg. Devils Food Chocolate Cake Mix - prepared as pkg. directs
• 4 (1-oz.) square Baking Chocolate, semi-sweet
• 1/4 c. Butter
• 1 (8-oz) pkg. Cream Cheese
• 1/2 c. Sugar
• 2 c. Whipped Topping, thawed
• 12 Oreo Cookies, crushed

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake the cake mix in TWO nine inch round cake pans as directed on the package. Cool in the pans 5 minutes. Then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and the butter in either the microwave or on the stove top. Cool this mixture for 5 minutes. Beat the cream cheese and the sugar in a large bowl. Add the whipped topping and cookie crumbs. Mix well. Top one cake with all the cream cheese mixture, then place the second cake on top. Spoon the chocolate glaze over the top of the cake. Refrigerate.
